Scholarships

Donors make it possible for the University of ÎçÒ¹AV Foundation to offer more than $5.1 million in scholarship awards annually.

Update: UA is Making Scholarships More Accessible and Student-Friendly
The university is committed to reducing financial stress and enhancing the academic journey for students. As part of this commitment, we’re improving how private scholarships are managed, making the process more flexible, transparent and student-centered.

This transformation is a joint effort involving the UA Foundation, UAA, UAF, UAS and UA system. Together, we’re working to create a more efficient and student-focused scholarship experience.

Eligibility
Scholarships are available to students attending UAA, UAF or UAS, including all community campuses.

We have many scholarship options, including those based on merit, financial need, field of study, life circumstances, outstanding achievement, or any combination of these criteria.

Awarded: The New Scholarship Management System
UA has moved away from the Kaleidoscope platform to a new Scholarship Management System called Awarded.

Applications are no longer required for most scholarships in the new system. However, students increase their chances of receiving more scholarships by filling out an optional profile. Some scholarships use this information to meet donor-set criteria.

Key Benefits of Awarded

  • An easier, more streamlined application experience for students
  • Improved communication and updates for applicants
  • Faster and more efficient scholarship selection and awarding

Rolling Deadlines for Greater Flexibility - Coming Soon!

  • On the horizon, but coming soon to better serve students, Awarded will provide rolling deadlines, allowing students to submit a profile  and be considered for scholarships throughout the year.
  • The change will support students in their academic planning and ensure more timely scholarship decisions.

Support Through the Transition
To ensure a smooth transition to Awarded, each UA university has hired Scholarship Process Improvement Coordinators. These dedicated staff members will help guide students and staff through the new system and ensure a seamless experience.
