Kerynn Fisher appointed executive officer for UA Board of Regents

The position is responsible for serving as the primary liaison between the board, university administration, governmental entities, and the public. Fisher has served as special assistant to University of ÎçÒ¹AV President Pat Pitney since October 2020.

Following the April 11 announcement that KPC Director Cheryl Siemers will serve as interim chancellor for UAA, Chancellor Sean Parnell is accepting letters of interest and nominations for the interim director role at Kenai Peninsula College.

UAA Interim Chancellor appointed

Cheryl currently serves as the director of UAA's Kenai Peninsula College (KPC). She has excellent leadership experience, understands and clearly articulates UAA's dual-mission, and has led enrollment growth at KPC. Cheryl will work alongside Chancellor Parnell during his transition and will begin as Interim Chancellor on May 17.
